Terms of Use

Last updated June 2026

Reading PawProof means you accept the terms on this page. They are short on purpose, and they exist to keep the site honest and useful. If a term here ever clashes with a right you hold under your own country's consumer law, that right wins.

Treat our guides as a starting point, not a diagnosis

Everything we publish about feeding, treats, first aid, vaccines, parasites, symptoms, behavior, gear safety, and setting up a home is general information to help you make a decision and ask better questions. It is not veterinary, medical, legal, or financial advice, and it cannot examine your animal. For a diagnosis, a medication or dose, vaccination timing, a suspected poisoning, trouble breathing, a hard or bloated belly, collapse, or anything urgent, call your veterinarian or the nearest emergency hospital now.

Prices, labels, and specs move

Pet food formulas get reformulated, products go in and out of stock, prices shift, and guidance is updated. We refresh our guides as that happens, but any figure we cite reflects what was true when we published or last reviewed the page, and it is an estimate, not a promise. Check the current price, the actual label, and the live listing before you buy, and confirm any health decision with your vet.

How PawProof pays its way

The site runs on display advertising through Google Ad Manager, and some links to retailers or pet brands may earn us a commission. Neither one buys a place on a list or a kinder verdict. Picks are made first, money second. Ad units are rendered as clearly marked slots, and where an affiliate link could shape a recommendation, we say so.

Using and quoting our work

Read, share, and quote PawProof freely, with a link back to the page you took it from. What you may not do is scrape the site, republish whole articles, or feed our content into machine-learning training sets without written permission. A short excerpt that credits and links to us is always fine.

Brand names we mention

Pet-food brands, product names, retailers, veterinary bodies, and their logos belong to their owners. We name them to inform you, which is nominative use and does not mean any of them endorse PawProof or that we endorse them beyond what a given guide actually says.

No warranty

PawProof comes as it is. We work hard to be accurate and current, but we cannot warrant that every detail is complete or error-free at the moment you read it, and you act on what you find here using your own judgment.

Which law applies

PawProof is run as an independent publication, and these terms follow the law where it is operated. As above, nothing here strips away a non-waivable protection you have under the law where you live.
